The One Belt One Road project is an ambitious and global project launched by China in 2013 with the aim of improving its influence on the world. The project consists of building a trading infrastructure based on two routes: one from China through central Asia to Middle East Europe by train and one linking China through Southeast Asia to east Africa by sea which would facilitate the development of mutual commercial, diplomatic and cultural opportunities. Foreign students coming to Beijing to study or work and who don't have the possibility to get student residences might find it difficult to arrange a private flat before they get to China.  Here are few tips from my personal experience that will help you in this process.
